Of course, we are not in the dark about our favorite Bravolebrities undergoing plastic surgery, more often than not. And it's not like anyone of them hides their journey either.
Over the years, every single individual's story has been out and about, but The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been about the least times discussed, seeing as though there haven't been as much as in the case of stars of the other franchises.
Kandi Burruss has been in the think of things for a long while, while her oldest daughter is currently having to deal with the rumors for herself. And Burruss hasn't been shy of sharing the secrets either. In fact, she blurted out every single procedure she's had in sequence during a talk-down with husband Todd Tucker back in late April. And others could actually learn from her plastic surgery story.
It's not strange to know Kandi Burruss has had liposuction before as she's mentioned it once already. But the extent to which she has taken for the process was only known when she discussed it with her husband. It turns out, her journey began as far back as 2000.

Her 17-year-old daughter, Riley Burruss, was born in 2002, and before Kandi was pregnant with her, she had her first lipo. And she did it after Riley's birth to tighten a "little pooch" she had before as well.
"The first time I ever had lipo," she told Tucker. "I was just trying to get them to flatten out the little pooch that was around my navel area because I was still skinny. After I had Riley I always had like a little pooch that wasn't tight. And he curved my side, you know where your love handles [are]? He curved that a little bit. I was kind of already in shape when I did it."
She would go on to have liposuction while being a cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta as well. It was only before Season 3 though, and she did not do anything to her butts. It's all natural.

"So, first season I had never had lipo or anything," she continues. "But going into Season 3, I had a little lipo before that. I still, like, looked the same. It was just for my own personal. He took some fat from my lower back area, so he curved my back a bit more. It does give you more of a 'pow' look. I never did anything to my butt, when you curve your back a little bit more, it makes it more pronounced like 'whoo!' "
During the season 9 reunion in 2017, she revealed that she'd gotten her breasts lifted after giving birth to her second child, Ace Wells Tucker, and breastfeeding for a year.
"I've just joined the club," she revealed. "Well, after we finished taping, I decided to pump them up. So I was like, 'I'm gonna take these from sleek to on fleek.' You know what I mean?"
Ace has grown quite a lot, not to mention Riley.

However, it seems she'd already had a boob job she'd once regretted after the second season. "I had boobs, but they were just like sad," she told Tucker in that interview. "They were saggy. They were saggy even after, but I put a little fat in my boobs. So that was after Season 2."
When asked what was on her list, she told her husband that she wanted a breast reduction procedure.
When her music career was in full swing, meaning the Xscape days, Kandi Burruss was really fit, meaning really really fit, telling Tucker, "Back then, I was rock-solid tight. That was before Riley. Go look at the videos, boo. I worked out all the time. Abs was on deck... tighter than yours."
However, as her life as a mom began, she says she became so busy that she didn't work out as much. But her trip to the gym was never over, despite gaining weight now and again. When she was touring with Xscape again in 2017 & 2018, she was back to six packs, being praised by her fans back then.
She bared her abs and got the most amazing reception from the fans.

"Because I got like super super busy around that time, I wasn't working out as much," she says of going downhill. "So I started gaining weight. At that point I had little boobs, they became huge because it went up a good 10 to 15 pounds within a year to two years after having lipo."
So she has suggestions to anyone diving into the plastic surgery world, especially those preferring lipo. "All of sudden... huge boobs, huge thighs, huge ass," she said in the video. "Everything was looking extra big, and I think it's because when you do take [the] fat out of your waist area, you can get bigger there but not like you used to gain there. It goes to other places. Then I started noticing a little double chin. If you're ever going to try lipo... don't get comfortable. You need to work out even harder than you did before so that you can maintain the lipo."
Burruss made a whole YouTube video about the latest procedure she went through in 2020. She took the camera through her much less evasive endeavor in comparison to her past procedures, botox, microdermabrasion and working on the dark circles under her eyes, the first for her face.
As to why she got the facial from Dr. Ping Ping, she said it was the insecurity she had for a long time when she was a kid. "When I was a kid... this little boy called me 'black eye peas' because of my dark circles, and when I tell you, he scarred me for life. He scarred me for life!"
