For many celebrities, it takes a bunch of plastic surgery stuff before regretting it for life. For Lisa Kudrow, it only took one, but it was not for a regretful reason that she didn't get any cosmetic surgery since then, but rather a cathartic one.
And for all of the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. cast members, you'll see drastic changes in their appearances, except for Lisa, who's still a blonde with the wrinkles of aging, in contrast to all the changes we've seen on others.
Yeah, by now, it's clear it's the nose job that she did in her teens that completely swayed her choice to have plastic surgery, ever. Even little injections to hide the wrinkles aren't an option for her. But despite the choice, she's as charming as ever.
Before getting that liberating nose job, it was hard for Lisa to make friends. She lost two friends when moving from seventh grade to the eighth grade and then to junior high because they thought she was just their tag-along for their other friends. Plus, she thought she was a little "hideous".
Honestly, it's not that bad.

"They knew some people, and I didn't," she told The Saturday Evening Post in its November/December 2013 issue. "Eventually they just got tired of me being a tag-along. They said, 'For your own good, you need to see what would happen if we weren't here.' It was really brutal. Very hard."
"All of junior high felt upside down to me," she continued. "It was not, like, the nice people who were popular; it wasn't the most entertaining people - it was the meanest people who were popular."
However, ever since that nose job, things completely turned around. "I went from, in my mind, hideous, to not hideous," she reflected. "I did it the summer before going to a new high school. So there were plenty of people who wouldn't know how hideous I looked before. That was a good, good, good change."
When you've already had a nose job to fend off the insecurity of your body, you'd think they'd opt for more as Charlotte Crosby says the addiction just happens. But not Lisa. Even after that one life-changing change, she's just saying no to any other, even after 55.
She also prides in herself that other girls these days reflect her character 'Phoebe'.

In an exclusive interview with The Guardian in 2015, Kudrow mentions she's not had any other surgeries than the nose job, not even Botox or fillers, in an age when almost every celebrity chooses so after 30. Unlike others, she won't find these changes good-looking for her.
"I'm not convinced I would look better," she said. "I'm afraid I would only look altered. If I freeze this (indicating her forehead), it would be harder for me to express anything."
