A makeover artist by profession, Lisa Armstrong met Anthony McPartlin, now her former husband when both of them were young, in fact, just teenagers in 1994. Both were indeed young and at the beginning of their career. Whilst she was a singer back then, Anthony was known for his appearances on shows like Gimme 5 and Byker Grove.

Fate united Lisa and Anthony during the tour of Smash Hits at Newcastle City Hall. To be more precise, whilst Lisa performed with her band, Deuce, her soon to be boyfriend performed with her co-host and long-term friend, Declan Donnelly, who were then known as PJ & Duncan.

Needless to say, that was when their love story began as Lisa and Ant became more closer and soon started on a remarkable journey to their life. The love birds were madly and truly in love that their relationship lasted more than a decade prior to their wedding.
Like we already mentioned, the bonding and love between Lisa and Anthony only grew stronger in those years. As a matter of fact, the couple didn't even feel like putting a ring on it to prove their love for each other.

But, sooner or later, they needed to settle down with legal intervention. So, yes, 26th April 2005, McPartlin decided to get on his knees and ask for her hand in marriage. And he did it in the most romantic way by flying to Dubai in an excuse to celebrate their holiday.
Lisa said yes, happily. And a year later in 2006, Armstrong and McPartlin became one in a holy matrimony. Their beautiful wedding took place on 26th April 2005 at Taplow, Buckinghamshire. And, the former singer looked gorgeous in a white bridal gown and a long veil attached to her hair. Ant, likewise made a great groom in grey suits and pants.
Lisa Armstrong and her married life with husband Anthony McPartlin really went well for the next numerous years, despite not sharing any children except for a labrador named Hurley. But, their marital happiness was tested in late 2017 when their relationship started to deteriorate.
As per reports, after things soured between them, both Armstrong and McPartlin also started to live separately. However, they still wanted to give their marriage a try, which sadly didn't happen. And, by the next year in January 2018, news surfaced that Ant filed for divorce as they no longer saw a future together.
Their divorce was only finalized in April 2020 after a long two yeras disputes of battle including the custody of their dog, which was seemingly won by the TV presenter. But, from being arrested for DUI & crashing his car to ending their decades-long relationship, what a tough year it was for Ant though.
One of the notorious divorces in 2018 in Britain can be confidently named Armstrong and McPartlin's. Not only for being complex divorce procedures but also for the custody battle of their dog and for Lisa being awarded £31 million from their divorce settlement, as Daily Mail reported.
Although it was confirmed that Armstrong won $31 million, as per the rule from Ant's wealth, the makeover artist denied the news by saying "don't believe the lies #justsaying." On the other hand, the public criticized the court's decision citing that it was unfair of Ant to share a vast earning of his wealth to his ex-wife who didn't work for it.
Since their separation, Ant has moved on and found in love with his personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett, who was ironically hired by his friend, Dec's wife, Ali Astall. Is Lisa dating anyone too after splitting from Ant? Well, as for Lisa, the same can't be said about her so far.
Lisa Armstrong might have been popular because of Anthony but she is an artist and financially independent of her own. The former singer and dancer was a member of Deuce which she joined in the early nineties. But her career as a performer didn't quite succeed.
Although with Deuce, Lisa went onto release singles like Call It Love, I Need You and On The Bible, among other more records, the band had no luck with continuing their work together. Concluding her path as a dancer, Lisa then saw her future in the beauty industry and decided to work as a makeover artist.
Speaking of which, Lisa has contributed to top-notch shows and movies as an actress, that includes Britain's Got Talents, X-Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, Hole in the Wall, Pick Me and many other projects that Ant was a part of too. Additionally, Lisa has also worked for Cosmopolitan's column and as the brand ambassador for Avon in 2019.
However, in late 2018, it was revealed that BGT kicked out Lisa for reportedly attracting a lot of attention at her which isn't what a BGT's makeup artist is apparently supposed to do. But, rumors also believe that Lisa quit the show as she didn't want to work with her former husband.
After their separation in 2018, Lisa Armstrong didn't only win £31 Million, but also the mansion she lived with during her marriage with Ant. Apparently, Ant who bought the Chiswick mansion for £2.3 million handed over the property to Lisa after their divorce.

The mansion is reported to be worth no less than £6 - £7 million, as of 2020. On the other hand, it's also been rumored that TV mogul, Simon Cowell, promised Armstrong a job in Los Angeles and that she might leave London and move there. But, of course, the gossip is only meant to be taken with a pinch of salt until it's proven true.
As for Armstrong's overall calculated wealth, the makeup artist holds a net worth of no less than $45 million.
