Lea Michele Plastic Surgery — Did She Really Not Get a Nose Job?

Things are really not working out for Glee actor Lea Michele at the moment. While having a stellar career, this thing changes everything as she's lost the HelloFresh sponsorship deal. Despite apologizing again and again, more and more people involved in the show have come forward to pour their feelings against her, after Samantha Ware accused her of making her on-set life "a living hell."

On a completely different matter though, Michele's evolution of looks over the years has many suspecting some cosmetic enhancement in the scene. But as much as change may be possible, she insists she hasn't resorted to such plastic surgery moves, despite the pressure to do so at times.

Michele also believes it was her decision not to choose plastic surgery that's resulted in all those roles she's got. Sure, her behavior during the filming of those series may not have helped her cause during the backlashes.

Lea Michele Avoided Plastic Surgery Because She Feared She Wouldn't Have Gotten Roles Otherwise

Despite what people often said, she says she loves her nose. In fact, she says she was around 13 when managers & agents told her she had to get a nose job if she wanted to land on magazine covers or be on TV. She says she "stuck true" and moved to Los Angeles, ending up with a role she believed she probably wouldn't have gotten that had she changed her nose.

"And then I wouldn't have been able to play Rachel Berry (on "Glee"), and my whole life would be different," she wrote in a column on Today last year. "It really was a big turning point for me many years ago. And, yeah, when I look at my nose it reminds me of my dad and he has a really big nose. And I just love it. And it's mine."

After repeated requests, she says she never even considered doing anything else drastic to her face, much less plastic surgery. "I don't look like a lot of other people, you know what I mean?" She told Harper's Bazaar in an interview in 2017. "How many managers told me, 'Get a nose job. You're not pretty enough'? But I proved them wrong."

Her Mom Had a Hand in Keeping Her Originality

From the earlier interview, it is evident her nose has family ties to not have rhinoplasty at all. In addition to the nose reminding of her dad, her mom also doesn't want her to do anything with her nose.

"I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn't get one," she revealed in a GQ interview in 2010. "And if anybody needed it, I probably did. But my mom always told me, growing up, 'Barbra Streisand didn't get a nose job. You're not getting a nose job.' And I didn't. F**k those people."

This might be 10 years ago, but she's sure she hasn't done anything to her nose. However, some still aren't convinced she's keeping her "be who you are" chant true to herself with a rhinoplasty.
