Janelle Monae desires to play popular X-Men character 'Storm' in a Marvel film.
The 34-year-old star has uncovered she is quick to assume control over the pretended by Halle Berry in the 'X-Men' establishment and concedes that she raised the chance when meeting the cast of 'Black Panther'.
In a meeting with Empire magazine, Janelle stated: "I certainly have tossed it out there. One I had always wanted has consistently been to play Storm. "I don't have the foggiest idea whether she comes in 'Dark Panther', yet it would be a fantasy to have her in it. I don't have the foggiest idea where they are with that.

Speaking on about her dream role, Monae added,
A lot of women have played Storm, and they've done an exceptional job, and I would love to be in that line of artists and get to do Storm justice.
Janelle is also up for another horror movie, 'Antebellum,' where she is set to play the role of Veronica Henley - who is an author transported back to the 19th century as a slave in southern America.
The on-screen character conceded that shooting the film on a ranch was an "activating" experience. The 34 years old actress said: "I brought all of my ancestors home with me. And we were filming most of the stuff at night on a plantation, and I felt everything." The 'Harriet' star also felt the experience was "unhealthy".
The Moonlight actress added: "There were just certain conversations even at craft services that if I heard would be triggering for me. "I couldn't even talk to my family sometimes. It was kind of unhealthy when I think back."
