Felice Bastianich was a chef and restaurateur who was prominent for his marriage to wife, also a chef, author and business partner, Lidia Bastianich. Felice was of Italian origin who was born in Pola, formerly a Kingdon Italy, now a part of modern Croatia. Felice was an American by nationality.

Felice and his wife immigrated to the United States in 1958 when ethnic Italian fled Yugoslavia, which is now in Croatia. Since moving into the States, Felice and his wife were successful to start their own business and a beautiful family.
One of the reasons Felice Bastianich became popular was due to his marriage to his chef wife, Lidia Bastianich who was born Lidia Giuliana Matticchio. Felice met Lidia on her sixteenth birthday in 1963. The young duo then later went on to fall in love.

Then in 1966, Felice and Lidia walked down the aisle. And, over their more than three decades of marriage, Felice and Lidia became parents for two times to their son, Joe Bastianich, and daughter Dr. Tanya Bastianich Manuali.
Felice and Lidia parted ways in the nineties as they finalized their divorce in 1998. It's been noted that the couple parted ways due to different opinions over the business matter as Lidia wanted to expand their business, something Felice opposed.
Felice never married again neither did his former wife who is still alive today, as of July 2020.
In 2020, it was revealed by various news sources that the popular chef in America who came from Italy had passed away. He particularly died on 12th December 2010 at the age of 70.
Bastianich's family decided to not reveal the reason behind his death to the public. Thus, to this day, ten years later, Felice Bastianich's cause of death is a mystery.
Chef Felice Bastianich and his wife, Lidia Bastianich decided to start their own business in 1971 with a restaurant called the Tiny Buonavia for which they took menu references from famous Italian restaurants.
And, with hiring skillful chefs from Italy, their business started becoming a success, to say the least. Likewise, the duo expanded their business in more places. However, not everything was always rainbow as Felice had to sell two of their restaurants after the death of his father.
Then owning a restaurant on the Eastern Manhattan to collaborating with Eataly, Felice was back on the business that profited his family business in millions. Felice is reported to have bagged a net worth of no less than $2 million at the time of his death.
