Gallardo was born and raised in the city of Tijuana which lies near the border of California. But, to be frank, Mr. Gallardo rose into fame for another reason. Perhaps, for his marriage with this renowned American chef.
Fausto Gallardo is also known as the former husband of Marcela Valladolid, an American chef known for her role as a judge on Best Baker in America. Fausto and his ex-wife were married for nearly a decade.

Gallardo's marriage is no less than a film though as he and Valladolid reportedly divorced for the first time somewhere in the early 2000s only to remarry in 2012 and divorce in 2013.
