In recent years, Brinkley mostly uses Xeomin and Ultherapy, which are non-invasive, non-surgical anti-aging procedures, to keep her skin young.
Xeomin is an injectable that uses "purified toxins" to reduce the appearance of lines between the eyebrows. According to Brinkley's dermatologist, Dr. Patricia Wexler of Wexler Dermatology in New York City Xeomin works similarly to Botox. According to her, the treatment costs $300-$500 and can last up to four months.
Ultherapy is an FDA-approved method that uses ultrasound technology to trigger collagen and elastin production, which lifts the skin, thus eliminating wrinkles and lines. It is mostly used in the chest and neck area.
Christie uses Ultherapy every eighteen months to reduce creases on her chest. On average, it takes between two or three months to see the result of the procedure and costs $1,800 per area treated.
Christie Brinkley was exposed to the sun her whole life. First, she grew up in Malibu, where she regularly went to the beach. Later she established herself as a bikini model whereby spending hours in beaches all around the world.
Thus to reverse the sun effect, she started using fillers from early on. The face of CoverGirl, however, never used botox as she did not want to limit her facial movements.
