    Cassidy Hubbarth was born as Cassidy Anne Hubbarth on September 19, 1984, in Evanston, Illinois. She grew up alongside two elder brothers.

    Hubbarth is half Filipino because of her mother, Emmeline Hubbarth. She consists of German and Irish ancestry from her father, Gerry Hubbarth's side.

    Cassidy inspired to become a sports broadcaster in middle school after seeing the work of Pam Oliver. Thus when she started High School at the local Evanston Township High School, she took up high school boys’ basketball broadcasting sports and analysis. 

    The high schooler in addition to sports broadcasting,was active on games herself. She was a three-sport athlete and even was part of a team that won a state title in soccer.

     After completing high school, Hubbarth joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in scholarship. Sadly,a month after she started college, her father was diagnosed with cancer. 

    The Evanston native returned home and transferred to Northwestern University for her sophomore year. At Northwestern, she joined Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications, and become active in the student-led Northwestern News Network

    Cassidy Hubbarth: Beginning of Broadcasting, Before ESPN 

    Hubbarth began her broadcasting career from her home state of Chicago. She worked as a traffic reporter and producer for WMAQ NBC5 Network in Chicago. At the same time, she also worked as a producer and host for Intersport

    After that, Northwestern alum worked for Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the Big Ten Network and Fox Sports South for various periods.

    Cassidy joined ESPN in 2010 and appeared as a digital host for college football, college basketball and NBA content on ESPN3. Since she loves covering college games, thus she was enjoying this position.

    Soon Hubbarth became the star reporter for ESPN because of her professionalism and her ability to always remain in the top of the news. The reporter began getting opportunities to interview basketball stars, even legends such as Lebron James. 

    It is the testament of her talents that ESPN did a multi-year extension with Cassidy in 2019. The details of the contract is not disclosed.

    At present, Hubbarth serves as a full-time reporter for ESPN game telecasts throughout the regular season and during the NBA Playoffs. She is also the host of Hoop Streams, and NBA All-Star Celebrity Game telecast. 

    The 35-year-old also guest-hosts several of ESPN’s shows, including Get Up, SportsCenter, First Take,and many more. Additionally, she has served as a regular college football studio host on ESPN and ABC and a WNBA studio host on ESPN.

    Given Hubbarath's private nature, she did not reveal the name of her daughter and neither the father of her baby. Thus, people start wondering if she is dating and have a boyfriend or the rumors of her wedding are true.

    The speculations of Hubbarth's marriage started around 2015 when she replied a troll in Tweet that she is married. 

    However, many people did not take that seriously, as many thought she was just sarcastic. Nonetheless, after the birth of her daughter, people realized that she was actually telling the truth at that time.

    Furthermore, after the birth of a daughter, the reporter has been more upfront about her marriage. She has quoted her husband in many interviews and also has been spotted with her wedding ring. 

    Nonetheless, she has still not revealed the name of her husband or her wedding date. However, some websites claim that Cassidy and her husband met the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. She was doing a job there to pay for her education, and her husband was a student there.
